Was in Athens Ga. and rain, rain and more rain. Then to Ft Gordon and same. In Savannah and ate at " The Pirates House". Know the waitress there and she said they got 13" of rain! Back home and it still rain heavily this PM. Debby is not going away peacefully….
I'm in the path as well. We could get from 1" to 7", according to the weather folks....

You know you are right. Not listening to the weather can lead to bad decisions for travel, a work day for your employees, and maybe being in the ocean instead of staying home. To each his own. I will not try to explain it any further. DNR here has made it a law to have a radio on your boat with you. Winds and rains can be all we listen to all day, but I like to know when there is a tornado close by. Hang out here and you might see the pictures of a great gun, even though it happens a lot.
Maybe it is a people thing, rather than a news event.

Thanks to all the first responders, power company personnel, emergency room workers, highway depts, etc for being OTJ during these difficult times.
