Latest Fender addition

My small collection of Fender guitars in Surf pearl just gained another member. A 2017 Fender Mexico Duo-Sonic with pau ferro fretboard. I prefer a maple fretboard with the pale green of the Surf Pearl but this one will make a good contrast to the others. Fairly dark for pau ferro. It will be interesting to see how dark it gets after cleaning and oiling. All it really needs is new strings and a cleanup. It has a half dozen or so small dings in the paint, mostly on the upper outer rim. Just a bit of fret and board wear so this one was played some and well taken care of. It has a push pull tone switch to turn the humbucker into a proper single coil. Gives it that Fender bridge position sparkle. I know Fender Mexico also made the Jazzmaster in this color but I have yet to see one, even online, so the hunt will continue. Quick pic of as received, and a later pic will follow after cleaning and setup.

There has been more than once when I have been browsing guitars online and saw something that caught my eye only to notice that it is left handed. Definitely not as big a problem for me as it is for you.
