Latest Purchases - Model 59 and 459

I won the below items in a couple of different auctions over the past few weeks.

First is a Model 59. It was listed as in fair condition. It is actually almost perfect except for the scratch you see at the front of the frame. Bought out of a sheriff's auction for $215 + $31 commission.

The second was a Model 459. It is absolutely NEW in the original box (which is in poor condition). All paperwork, but no tools. I believe this to be unfired since the factory. $275 + about $50 commission.

Did great on the price! I paid around $170 for a new 59 back in 1977 but it was marked down some. Congratulations on your purchase.

Let's see...
Model 59 for $246, given it's condition it would bring $400-$450 around here.
Model 459 with adjustable rear sight for $325, NIB, it would bring $500-$550 around here.
I think ya done good!
Adding a Model 5904 would complete your 59 series collection.
