I enjoyed it. My wife thought they overdid the depictions of racism. I told her it was probably really a lot worse than what was shown in those days.

I agree that the season finale was a bit too contrived. I did enjoy seeing the dinosaur footprints near Glen Rose. I've seen those in person at Dinosaur State Park.

I watched all eight episodes. Overall, a pretty good series.

Decent series but that finale was very contrived. The acting of the star had only 2 modes. Gruff and gruffer. Not much nuance to the character and same line delivery every time.

I feel like the show got edited to the point of mild confusion. Multiple episodes start off and I'm wondering how did we get here. Who are these guys the marshal is hunting? Wouldn't take long to figure things out but too many episodes drop us into the action without much to inform us and welcome us into the story. I wonder if the series was initially a 10 episode order that got cut down 8.

I'd probably watch a second season but am not waiting with baited breath.
