Got one.
Shot it yesterday.
First 380 I ever had or even shot.
Seems to be a handy reliable little Pistol.
The biggest problem so far is 380 Ammo is hard to find and expensive.
Bought some today at 60 cents a round.
Have it. Love it. Best shooting small pistol I've ever encountered. I carry it
99% of the time. The sights, capacity, and comfort while shooting it, really do put it in a class by itself.
Carried a snubbie for almost a decade. But when the LCP Max was introduced I jumped on it. 160% increase in capacity with night sights in the same weight range as my snubbie When fully loaded (15oz).
I just upgraded my LCP II to the LCP MAX. Love it! It's a much better little gun and still works great for pocket carry. Not a single malfunction in about 400 rounds of mixed factory and reloads.
Accuracy is decent at about 2-3" groups at 10 yards. After break-in, the trigger breaks at 6 lbs which I consider pretty good for this type of gun with not much else in the way of safeties. I found that I prefer the standard 10 round magazines to keep it compact. Old holsters fit well and the Viridian laser from the LCP II is a direct transplant to the MAX.
I think it's a great gun for its intended purpose.
I had one and really liked it. My wife likes it more as it is no longer mine. That was really my plan all along!
Great pistol for pocket carry. Carried all over South Padre Island when we went for vacation. Small and light enough that it went into the pocket of my shorts and didn't need a belt to help hold up my pants!
Have several hundred rounds through it, had one failure to feed in the first magazine, but none since. FMJ, JHP, steel case... doesn't matter to mine.
