I can not begin to thank you all enough for the kind words in Bruce Green's original post. i got as far as the couch and recliner and have a bell both places. lost my voice from coughing so hard and still can't talk. the doc said it might be a few weeks which my my wife cringe. this hit me hard. being "elderly", diabetic and a smoker didn't help. after two days in, i went to ICU for 8 days. i don't remember going but my wife remembered it. she was in the room next to mine and heard them getting me about 2 a m. i didn't realize i was in there for probably 24-36 hours. lost taste and smell for about a week but when taste came back food never tasted so good and they had good chow in that place. i lost 35 lbs in 28 days. my throat is getting tire so i am going to lay down. will keep you updated but not with pics.
