Setting up dies
There is a procedure for setting up dies to align them and that they aren't cocked with you tighten down the lock rings. You will have a piece of brass in place to hold the dies while you lock them. That said, I still guide cases in because I don't like crushed cases or dropping bullets on the floor. My shell holder has some play in it so I still guide them in.
