yeah but the revolver in general is an embodiment of Murphy's law, anything that can go wrong will go wrong so we'll just get rid of as much of the stuff that can go wrong on it as possibile and thus the internal lock even if it never goes wrong on us still goes against the very principal of why you chose a revolver as your trusted sidearm in the first place
plus its not like a normal safety on a semi auto where with a flick of the switch its off, or even a grip safety like on the old 1911 or the HK squease cocker gun, the P7 I think, the one Alan Rickman used in die hard which I think some police actually carried and that squease cocker thing saved them once like the mag disconnect did to someone here with a smith and wesson awhile back, although a smith revolver already had that squease grip awhile back to begin with that worked the same way
as you actually need a bloody key for the stupid thing like one of those fricken MA trigger locks and it just shouldnt be and it certainly shouldnt be standard for everyone.
