Lemon Squeezer ID help

Hi!

Got this lemon squeezer from my brother-in-law and I'm trying to find out some info about it. Besides the S&W markings on the top of the barrel and the serial number, I can't find any other markings on it. I'm sorry if the bottom pic is upside down - it's right side up on photobucket.

The serial number is 5 digits - 554XX.

I would like to know if possible:

- What year it was manufactured.
- What caliber (I think it's a .32, but not sure if 32 long or short)
- Is there any information available about disassembly and cleaning?

The dating jumps all over on these, but you have a 1st Model made from 1888-1902. I have #42476 which dates from June 1892. The caliber is .32 S&W, sometimes called .32 Short. I've found quite a bit of it on Gunbroker.
