C.S. - The Model 13 was in pretty good shape with just some bluing wear. I discussed the project quite a bit with Kent, and had the following work done: Action job, 2/3 hammer bob, chamfer charge holes, smooth sharp edges, stipple backstrap, install the Spegels I provided. A lot of the discussion dealt with the front sight. I was thinking maybe a tritium insert, but Kent recommended a fiber optic of his manufacture, and I'm really glad I listened to him. Finally, for the CCW and beatin' around the woods use I envisioned, Kent recommended Robar's NP3. He lives near the company, has a good relationship with them, and can usually help "expedite" things. (I really, really like the NP3 finish.) Dealing with Singletary was a good experience. Here's one more pic to show the stippling and front sight:
