ODB GOING TO THE BROWNS. After all what 20 y/o multi millionaire male wouldn't get tired of the ho-hum food & nightlife of dreary old NYC, for Cleveland. MILIONS of $$$ reasons why I suppose, maybe he's interested in ice fishing. :D

Money or not, I'll take Cleveland or a multitude of other cities or towns over NYC. Never liked it, doubt I ever will.

NOT A FAN of one of the safest/cleanest major cities in the USA? The 70's were a LONG time ago. I guess ODB/OBJ will have to give up his champagne rooms.

Football aside, I traveled to Cleveland 100s of times from 2000 to 2012, for business. Not a big city fan, but Cleveland is much nicer than its reputation.
Been to NYC a few times for business, absolutely would not live there, for any amount of money.

DISSING NYC IS DOWN THE HALL.

DUMPING on NYC is on a different thread, THIS ONE was supposed to be about football trades. Sorry if I offended Cleveland, after all they have the R&R hall of fame.

I lived in Cleveland back in the late 1960s, and hated it then. One of my happy days was seeing Cleveland in the rear-view mirror (I think Buddy Holly invented that phrase). A very inconvenient town with miserable winter weather. Maybe it's better now, but I doubt it. However in a choice limited to Cleveland and NYC, I'd have to take Cleveland.

Fun fact - during the 1920s and 1930s, Cleveland was the third largest city in the US, after NYC and Chicago. The West Coast and sunbelt cities didn't go through a growth spurt until after WWII.

WOWDELL

It seems he wanted out of NY. To go somewhere with a better chance for a ring??? Or to be in Cleveland, (with a ring) in 2019/2020, that would be quite the accomplishment.

Go, Browns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Young, talented and ready to kick butt. In the future, visiting teams will be glad to see Cleveland in their rear-view mirrors due to the stomping they experience.

Those guys no longer know what city they "play for" without looking at their uniforms. No problem commuting back to NYC to commit their felony of choice everyday if they want to.
