I own a 38 special 15-4 2" snub and would like to see some more like it and stories to with the guns. I'm new to owning S&W revolvers and surely have a lot to learn about.

nice snub

first off i'm jealous of your M15 snub. A couple yrs ago a co worker was selling a 1894 Marlin 44 Mag carbine, said he would sell it for $350 so after work i went to his house to check it out. It was REP stamped(not JM) and i was trying to decide whether to get it or not when he asked if i was lookin for anything "else". Out comes a 4" 15-3 he bought from a neighbor's widow, it had belonged to her husband,a local chief of police. Had a trigger/action job done by his PD armorer, and it looked new. I said how much and he looked at me,frowned a little, and spit out $250, so i responded how about $200.....he says its a deal. haha.....here it is

I have a couple of M15-3s.
One has hard chrome on the cylinder, hammer and latch and
trigger. The rest is Parkerized. Got it for a good price because
of the custom touches.

Another is a stock 15 snub. Haven't even changed the grips to
rubber Pachs, as I usually do.

The two are among my favorite .38s to shoot.
Would like to find a nickeled one like the one shown above.
Missed one here by 20 minutes a while ago.

I stopped to drop off some Christmas
cheer at my LGS.
Glanced down and saw this in the showcase.
It had the P/targets on it. I had some stags.
$375 and it came home. Quick pic.

I believe this one is a 15-5 Square Butt.
It has Ahrends Grips on it. I have the factory grips also. No Box or papers.

A friend of mine had it in his desk drawer at work. He had never fired it. It has a faint turn line, so I did fire 50 through it in a BUG Match. It still looks unfired.
I traded a 2.5 Inch 66-2 for it. So I have $600 in this one.
It is way to clean for me to carry.

Kinda worn. This 15-3 came in the LGS where I was working a few years ago on a trade. Guy said his deceased brother had been a deputy somewhere. Of course, I was all over the story, wanting to know about the M15. Had it been his duty gun, etc?

The guy stated - 'Oh - that? He picked that up at a yard sale'.

Boss made me pay $150 for it.

I think the Model 15 was the pinnacle of .38 special K-frame achievement for S&W. I have only one, but it's a prized item for me. This is a 15-3, shipped in May, 1971.
