Lets see the mini handguns

I sometimes get "looks" from some gun guys when I talk about my KelTecs.

Understand that P-32's are not my usual EDC.

I use them as deep cover concealment and back-up's.

Point being..... folks think they are underpowered mouse guns and a bit of a joke. But not one of them sneers at a load of 12 gauge 00 buck as a close range fight stopper.

Here is a load of tactical buck compared to a .32 lead bullet.

The spare mags fit in a swiss army knife pouch on the belt. There is one in this pouch.

And there are 8 rounds of buckshot caliber ammo in the gun.

And the gun itself will fit in some really small spaces.

I have extra large hands and with the grip adapters it works well for me.

I have a Beretta 21A in 22LR I have in my pocket with a shot shell chambered when I walk my dogs here in AZ. Also a PPK/S. Everyone knows these. How about this one though? LLAMA Especial III chambered in 380 ACP. Roughly a 7/8 scale 1911. Weighs 23 oz. 3.7" barrel. Mag holds 7. A tad over 6" by 4.5"

Crazy as it sounds, this little Colt will put all six rounds in the face of an IPSC target from the Second Barricade at the Bianchi Cup Match Set up, which is 15 feet. It shot so well and was so tiny I had to have it, even though I never thought I would own a .25 ACP. Sorry ColonelVest 3.jpg Cooper!

I’ve only shot Silvertips without any malfunctions other than a bruised knuckle :ROFLMAO:
I only shoot Silvertips on nights of the full moon. I have a box of 357 mag Silvertips from an estate sale, so old that they were in a box of 50. They also had a box of 50 38 spl, but somebody beat me to it. All my other Silvertip calibers except 22LR are newer ones in boxes of 20.

How is the reliabilty of the 380? How picky are they with ammo brands?
My 380s are not picky with the exception of the Ruger Security 380. It jams (FTL) on round nose FMJ. It likes flat nose FMJ like Win, Browning and Herters, all of which probably use the same bullet. It is also OK on hollow points. Others report the same issue. I am going to polish the feed ramp with Flitz when I get around to it to see if it makes any difference.

Mine was also unreliable until I found the ammo that it likes. Mine likes CCI mini mag hollow point cartridges that are 38 grains. If you haven’t tried that ammo, try it and see what you think. After about 100 or so rounds, I have to clean mine or it begins to have cycling problems.
I meant mini mag hollow point 36 grain 22lr ammo. Sorry, I had a senior moment.

Beware of firing pin sheer on early 2018 -19 and some 2020's
After my Apr 2019 gun sheered two , SIG fix fixed the 1st time their dime.
The second only the part was offered, smith work was on me at a Sig authorized dealer.
Nice gun but...
I lost confidence in it after I carried the dead weight for many days until my next shooting or should I say NOT shooting it.
I’m aware of the issue that some have had. It’s already had at minimum 1500 rounds or so over the years without a hiccup. Two of my friends own local gun stores. One is a Smith and he’s checked everything out a couple of times and it’s still gtg. Aside from their crappy night sites, it’s been a great backup. And I’m not a Sig guy by any means. Just liked the capacity of 9mm in a gun that small and the price was right. No complaints on mine. And if I ever need service, it will be done here for the price of parts and some food. But yeah, if I had an experience like yourself, I wouldn’t feel too confident about it either.

Now aren’t they cuter than a bugs ear?
