My 3" 60 is a 60Pro. I really like mine. I have put Pachmary gripper grips on it. Improves control with heavier loads.

Thanks fellas, lookin good, keep em comin!! Im looking for something similar to these grips (below). I asked the owner what they were and he wasnt sure.. Can anyone identify them?? Im really lookin for some conversion/target style grips for a Round Butt J-frame, (similar to these or to Bronco45's, but with more of a sharp transition on the bottom) and aint havin much luck yet.. Thanks for any help!!

Hey Jay Frame,
Thanks for the Wallpaper/ScreenSaver. That is just plain beautiful.

Thanks vistula and 1blindref! Toroflow1 that 36 target is great. Never seen one like it before, only the one like sportsterguy posted. Keep the pics coming. They help feed my addiction and drain my bank account! JF

Hey Mickstix I think they are Eagle Grips from about 15 years ago . I have some on a 4" 66 sq butt ,very comfortable but fit is a little iffy.

Here's a couple more 3 inchers.

The mod 60 my wife stole from me(I still get to borrow it )

That is a terrific little Model 36 Target you have there. Was that part of a special order for a distributor or just a short factory run, if you know.

According to SCS&Ws, it was a special/short factory run. If you have a copy of SCS&Ws, check not only under "model 36", but under "model 50" as well.

Ken,
That's gorgeous! I have a 36-6, 3" target with full lug barrel like the one above and they only came in bead blast/matte black. If they weren't so rare (615 made in 1989) or if I find a well used one, I'd have it finished in full polish blue like your gun.
Yours has the target trigger already. Have you considered a J frame wide target hammer for yours? I really like the one I put on my 36-6 (my limited production 60-4 target, earliest made, was the only model S&W ever equipped with a casehardened centerfire target hammer. See Bronco's on 1st page; later they were chrome plated) and I put one on my .32 target as well. Now they all feel like my Mod 34 .22s.

Mickstix: The grip that you asked about on page 1 of this thread are grips made by Eagle Grips out of Illinois/India. The wood is Indian Rosewood.

Quality control is a bitty iffy with their products, at least IMHO and experience with same.

Bronco, are you referring to the gun picture I posted, or your Model 60, as having the "eagle" grips?? I've seen their website and so far there about as close as I can find to the ones on the pic I posted..

Thanks again everyone for posting your great lookin firearms!! Keep it up, everyone enjoys seeing pix!!

Are Eagle Grips and Art Jewel the same company? The outfit I'm thinking of definitely imports Indian-made grips like those in the photo cited. (NOT the grips seen just above.)
