boykinlp--That's a nice looking box and a fitting tribute to your dad. If I may make a suggestion, the only thing missing is his nav wings.

That is a great suggestion. The only problem is that he died when I was only 6 years old (1967). My mother passed in 1987 and my brother 3 years ago. I was able to find the stuff that I put in the shadow box among some of my brother's things. I know there is other stuff, but I have yet to locate it unfortunately. But one day...............

If you have a picture of him with his uniform, he'll either be a Basic Navigator (plain wings), Senior Navigator (wings w/star on top), or a Master Navigator (wings w/star & wreath).
