This is where I do all my maintenance on my handguns. The roll around that the 10-22 is on is mainly for the rifle or when I have an overflow of handguns from the range and they are waiting in line. I know it ain't pretty, but I know where everything is and what it's for. This is inside my block garage that is built into a hillside so I can use the attic to store all my lawn equipment.

I like looking at other folks work benches. It shows me that I'm not alone when it gets messy.

Enjoy them while you can. Before I moved to this retirement joint, I had a 18 X 20 work shop loaded with wood working tools. I had a 4 X 8 bench for wood working and a long(guessing about 10 ft.) laminate topped bench with drawers and shelves where I made jewelry and worked on my guns. I don't miss my house but the shop I really miss even knowing that I could no longer fully utilize it.

Here's mine. It's about 3 years ago and I now have a large industrial air compressor instead of the green one. Although I keep my Shop neat & clean, it gets used almost daily and I always clean up at the end of the project. Sometimes I ponder how people get bye without a good Workshop!

My workshop is 20x20 and I have benches in two corners along with a roll-a-round bench in the middle of it all. I've got too many projects going on at any given time. This is the messiest it's been in a long time.

I bought mine. It's 8ft. long and plenty of legroom under it. Almost everything under it is on wheels for easier access.

Right now it a mess. I have a bunch of ammo on it from my brothers place.

Here's a picture or two in use,

I'm hoping to find mine some day under all the accumulated junk. If I ever do, I'll show you a pic.

I never did get to see the bench at my fathers house. It was covered in stuff for years and my brother took it all.

Now that my brother's dead I guess I'll keep finding stuff he helped himself to. I've already found a lot.

I have a work bench but it's location & use is questionable as when family does not know where to put things away or where they go..."Just put it on Daddy's work bench."
<< sigh >>

That is a bunch of nice, well equipped workshops. Glad to know so many members have a place to enjoy their hobbies. I did most of my reloading in my shop. I made made a portable stand for my press and loaded a bunch of 38 Special and 357 mag in the kitchen during really cold weather. The only problem there was getting my wife not to talk to me while I was weighing the 357 powder.

Not mine, but the guy was pretty important

This was how it was at his death,

This is my "hobby" workshop. Loading maintenance room..11x21 with a 4x7 ft walk in vault in one corner. U shaped countertop around three sides for loaders and a separate cleaning/maint area. Was the first room in my basement I finished after building our new condo 15 years ago.

This is totally separate from my "workshop" where I have my compound miter saw, drill press, bench grinder, etc. for working on anything other than firearms.

My workbench is to the right behind my ATV.
I don't "work" on my guns. I clean them at my kitchen table. :)
I don't reload either so I don't have any reloading stuff.
I have a friend who reloads for me because he enjoys it.

Mine is n a 30X40 steel building I put up about 1983, we are having a hot spell in So.Louisiana last few days and it has been 100 degrees inside the building.
I do have several of the red Craftsman tool cabinets when I see the pictures of them I am reminded of how one day I pulled out a drawer and found a 3-4' King snake sitting in there, I guess he crawled in though the back. Good thing I looked before reaching in. I'm right next to a huge swamp so lots of snakes, and gators, around here.

Here's mine

I took a few hours to clean it off :D I wish it always looked like this, didn't want you guys to think I was too messy. Cabinets and shelves are kitchen and dumpster salvage. I lucked into the Stanley Vidmar locking drawer cabinet, a hospital in Sebring was tossing it. It used to hold drugs and painkillers locked up in an OR, so it's a good secure place for my assembled ammo. The only cabinet I bought is the Gladiator from Lowe's. It holds all of my powders.
