I found it interesting that this M15 was delivered as DA only. I was under the impression that the Armory had altered them. Hope you enjoy it.

Larry-Thanks so much for allowing me to buy your brother's gun. I was a little shocked about that also as there is a spur on the hammer which I would think wouldn't be there from the factory. I've enjoyed polishing and fondling the gun but haven't shot it yet. I've shown it to a few friends that know my love of old cop guns. They all think this one is really cool. Thanks again for trusting me with this one. Jim

My 15-2 is marked Erie PD PA.

That one is a little closer to home, and apparently it's not gone to far from its shipping destination...maybe! That would be a cool find but I don't think I'd go out of my way for a "local area" PD revolver. (I like Erie!)
