guys,
is their a big diffrence in leopold scopes between the vari x 1, vari x 11 or vari x 11 models.
i have a chance to get a vari x 1 4x12 scope, which is new, for our sportsmans benefit, but i dont know how good this scope is compared to
the leupold scope is see for 5 to 6 to 7 hundrd dollars.
also, what would be a fair price for this scope.
thanks guys for your advice

Made in the USA with a lifetime warranty. Anything goes wrong, send it to them to fix it for free. I'd check FlEbay for pricing but new in the box it should be worth at least $300 to $350.

Those are the older designs, the 2-7, 3-9, 4-12 etc. But a tough proven design. I'd agree on $350 or so.

thanks guys
i feel
better,
folks
as i put thee rifles together
what is the best scope in order i should watch for
if leupols is number 1,which scope is 2nd 3rd etc
thanks afor any and all opinions
scopes will be used here in the westrn us,from elk to dear to varmints

The Vari-X series are older. Leupold had produced the VX-I, VX-II and VX-III scopes for maybe 5 years now. The VX-I series have friction adjustments and lack the refinements of the more expensive lines, but they're still decent scopes. Natchez has the VX-I 4x12 for $299 new.
