LGS rescue

i went into a LGS in pensacola florida last friday to visit a friend who worked there and saw this in the used consignment guns and it had ti follow me home as it just beaconed to me. smith 66-2 4"
in great shape but was wearing pachmeyers. 5.5 bens otd. i had the aftermarket fingergroove stocks already. had to have it to go with my 19-5 6".

Nice rescue. I rarely see a S&W or Colt at the LGS or Pawn Shop's in my area.
 
Looks pretty good! The 66-2 is a good gun, though occasionally neglected by the P&R-guys. I understand their sentiment, but don't really subscribe to it. Personally, I'd prefer the Pachmayrs if they were the presentation models, for shooting .357 Magnum ammunition. Anyway, you found a great revolver, and a fair price, too! Congrats on your new .357. :)
 
Very nice, thanks for showing us. I'm jealous, mostly plastic .40s and single action .22s for used pistols around here.

I know it's a minority opinion but, yeah, put the Pachys back on.
