Lifetime warranty?

I Contacted S&W today. Got transferred to women named Denise. Asked me if I was calling to make the payment to fix my gun? I asked why it was not covered by the life time warranty. She said that the extractor was normal wear and tear. It’s considered a wear part. They are right. I paid the 130.00 and said fix it. I am happy to get it running.

Well, you've gotta admit that when a small stressed/wearable part reaches 30 years, it's hard to argue that it suddenly suffered a materials or manufacturing defect. ;)

I have no complaints. For 130.50 to get it fixed by the factory with new parts is money well spent.
