Like new 29-3 info please

I ran into a 29-3 6” at my local shop about a month ago for a price I couldn’t ignore and had to bring home with me. The gun appeared to be unfired lacking a drag line on the cylinder before I started playing with it. I was wondering if anyone with the book could tell me year of manufacture. I know it’s sometime in the 80s being post P&R but just out of curiosity.

Without knowing the serial number, not really. If you post the serial number, and it's ok to X-out the last two or three digits, then someone can give you the year it left the factory.

Serial number would help.

I have one with s/n ADP4xxx that per the book should have shipped Oct - Dec 1983. Inside the stocks is stamped
DEC 28 1983

I meant to add the serial number but totally spaced. It’s AFT20XX

Looks a lot like mine! Nice acquisition...mine has been trouble free since I bought it in 1987.
