If anyone who reads those two articles has not joined the NRA or other 2A group should really take an introspective look at your own life. Nothing is perfect and the NRA falls into that imperfect catagory. No, the NRA does not represent everything I believe in. No the NRA would not be in the top 5 of my personal favorite organizations. Yes, the NRA is pretty much the best we have right now so I chose to find ways to fund them.
Just look at the sheer number of legislation submittals both Nationally and at the State level. Think about the number of lawyers, clerks, researchers, and support staff will be required to fight them both in their respective legislatures and then in the courts.
It is fine to talk but the strategy is becoming clear. The other side who will take our guns away if given a chance is using a shotgun approach and bombarding away all across this country in the hopes that something sticks. After they get a little they will expand it to achieve their most cherished goal of a meek unarmed populace <political statement removed out of respect for the rules>.
