Toight's news had two stories. The first about a Pizza Delivery guy, in his forties, that was beaten and robbed. He double tapped the 17 year old, one of four perps, and the rest beat a retreat. No charges and the Sheriff on TV said it was his right to do so. This happened a couple miles from my house!

A few minutes later they did a story about how to get your CCW and how it might be a good idea. The instructor that was teaching the class went above and beyond what was required. The reporter herself took the course and it sounds like she's gonna get hers. Very positive story.

A refreshing news report for a change.

I just took a CWP class Saturday. Glad I finally got into one in Anderson county. The class was jam-packed full.

Really! I just turned off my local CBS affiliate's idiotic "reporting", including a stereotypical blond bimbo blathering about an incindent she knew nothing about, standing about 50 yards away from the PDP's crime-taped perimeter, reporting that an actual, purported, crime, of some unclear sort, involving persons and weapons as yet unknown as to name, injuries, type, and other important and relevant and significant details, probably, maybe, occured here, at some questionable earlier time, also about which we know nothing, but about which we promise to keep blathering unendingly until some other, more interesting event of greater shock value, but about which we know nothing more or less than this last vacuous report wanes in the short attention span of our brain-dead viewers who have spaced out our previous report...

is a CCW permit class required there??.

Not a bad idea to have, but a loaded pistol in the glove compartment of your car from a private sale (no paperwork) is legal.

Our CCW is pretty easy as well, show up, listen, shoot your target as many times as it takes to achieve minimum score with a .22 setup with a target trigger and you're good to go.

I've heard stories of instructors doing everything short of holding the students hands and telling them when to squeeze. About as bad as the lady at the DMV who lets grandma take the vision test a dozen times because she doesn't want to be the one to take away her license.

Why must these idiot newscasters always ask "why did they do whatever"?They did it because they are pure evil and will take your goods or your life-it really doesn't matter which.
Locally a couple of days ago at noon a 78 year old woman was bashed in the head in a parking garage and her handbag stolen.
The most important picture left out was the dead perp.It may have made a bigger impression.
And I really am too furious to comment on that cretin calling it a "murder"In reality it was a civic duty.
