I have to add this [babble]
I am huge into .32 H&R magnum after allowing
it to slip by me for so many years.
I have been a fanatic of .357 since at least 1973
but this .32 is soooo sweet.....and powerful
without the recoil......I am intrigued with it !!
I am now building my 'collection' of arms in that
direction [.32] but slowly since I am retired and the
gun funds aren't what they were.
I want a Ruger Single-Six chambered .32H&R and
the only availability seems to be a John Wayne
commemorative. I am a JW fan....love the gun...
but the price is steep [sort of]. It is also a 'collector'
model in it's own right.
My wife asked 'if you get that, would you shoot it, it is very nice...?'
My reply....'If John Wayne walked in my office, saw it laying
on my desk, he probably would say--nice gun pilgrim, how does it shoot?--'
If you have enough $$$$$$$ to buy collector type guns to keep and not shoot, you probably aren't really foolin' around with $1000 guns to start with....not these days and times.
If you have 'duplicate' guns, that's different.
If it's really nice, if it feels really good to hold, go shoot the beans out of it !!!!!
Life is short......enjoy it.
