Has anyone used this site? loaddata.com I am thinking about becoming a member but not sure it is worth the money to join, I like how their data is laid out and they cover Berry's bullets and most powders.

Nothing against LoadData.com, but I would much rather invest in manuals. All the powder manufacturers list load data online too.

I use Hodgdon's online site all the time as I only use their powder and I have the manuals, but this site covers a lot more bullets I use. Bullet manufacturers don't give out load data normally.

I use Hodgdon powders and Hodgdon's load data that is free of charge on their website. I don't even bother to check other sources anymore.

I was just at local reloading shop yesterday looking for a book that had more bullets than my Lyman 49th. I found out that I would have to buy at least 3 more books to cover just the 9mm bullets that I'm working up now. This may be my answer for now as I will be working up new loads for a few calibers/bullets.

I have found it to be quite useful, for the sheer number of loads available.

All published load data, from any source, is a guideline, unless you are using the exact components listed. Even then, they weren't using YOUR gun.

Being new to reloading I am concerned about how accurate the load data is on this site. What do the experienced loaders have to say about the accuracy of this site?

I'm not familiar with Load Data. There is so much free information available online that I don't think there's a need to buy data unless bullets develop magical qualities and the loads are proprietary in nature and no one else may copy them---which isn't the case.

I've found it quite useful. It has many, many custom loads that are tailored for various firearm/bullet/purpose combinations, that most sources don't cover. Much of the data has come from their years and years of publishing Handloader magazine.

Also, if you want a load of some esoteric, unpopular (maybe even 'niche') , noncommercial cartridge, this is your source!

Again, many of the loads have been tested by the writers of Handloader magazine, or their other rags: Rifle Magazine, Successful Hunter.

FWIW; I'm sure it's just me, but my "motto" is I pay very little attention to any load data from any forum expert, range rat, pet loads website, gun counter clerk, or gun shop guru. I can get any load information from my reloading manuals I'll ever need (and have done so for 30 years). Not an anti-technology nut wanting to stay in the horse-and-buggy days, but I have found no need for pet loads websites (yep, I tried Loaddata.com). Besides, there is a whole lot more to a reloading manual than recipes. I have used powder manufacturer's web sites but usually check their data against some of my manuals. I have gotten all the data from at least one of my manuals that I've needed to reload 7 handgun calibers and 7 rifle calibers using jacketed, cast lead, swaged lead, plated and powder coated bullets for 30 years and still have choices I've not tried. But I have seen some questionable and at least one dangerous load on line...

loaddata.com is a good tool for me, Also, I have copied and stored several thousand load data recipes, Before my subscription expires, and when I have time, I will burn all data on a dvd, They add new load data all the time, But you have to look for it, All in all it was worth 29 bucks for a year,

Loaddata.com has deleted load data that has been published in older reloading manuals, thought to be unsafe, Some Blue Dot powder loads come to mind,
I use this site as a tool, And always cross reference with manuals,
