I'm going to ask if there is a "sweet spot" COAL for this pistol. As soon as the dies arrive I will be loading 90 grain XTP.

I have the manual and know the stated minimum. I have also read that this pistol can be a bit of a finicky eater.

I thought I may be able to pick the collective brain trust and save myself some time.

Thanks in advance,

I load for 2 .380 BG's and they feed nearly without fail. I use .975" as my nominal OAL with 100gr RN. The only FTE's I've ever had were with the very lowest charges. I found that these little pistols are a treat to shoot for my wife and daughter with pretty mild loads and cycle very reliably.

I have included a link to an on line source FYI.

As always start low with powder charges and work up.
