Local .22 Tactical matches

Here in Mesa, AZ we are very lucky, we have a bunch of .22 enthusiasts that shoot in Tactical .22 matches every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

If you are having Fun, you would have a Ball shooting with us.

We start out with a run through the Shoot House engaging normally 9 IDPA Silhouettes with 2 rounds each with your handgun. When you come out the back door into the valley you will have another 20 IDPA Silhouettes to engage with your carbine as you navigate the Firing Lane. You will be shooting from behind cover such as Barrels, Barracades, etc, and on the move.

In Rimfire Division I shoot a Ruger Mk III and a Tactical Solutions AR15-22 M4 Upper on an AR15 Lower. I use Black Dog Steel Lip Magazines. I have an UltraDot sight on the AR.

Rimfire is a blast, and much cheaper than Center Fire.

Were are they??

I also like to shoot my 22's , mostly my 22a. I live around the Dallas metroplex and I don't know of any 22 matches, have seen them on the Shooting Chanel, but haven't been able to find any. If there is a sight , chapter, or group that has information on 22 matches, please inform me, Thanks in advance. ds
