Local gunshow, one vender was selling primers $45.00, powder $35,00. Any brand primer or powder. I bought 2000 CCI small pistol primers. He had all sizes or primers and lots of different powders. Everyone else was still selling at the same old high price, $85 To $100 for primers and $65 up for powder.

Yep, $45 was the last “good” price I saw for primers right before they went berserk. I guess I should have bought more then. 🧐

Primers are a lot like toilet paper...

I really can't just whip up a batch and, if I last long enough(?), I'll eventually find a use for them!

So buying 'em when available at a great price seems quite reasonable to me. And THAT'S a GREAT PRICE, IMHO!

Cheers!

I’m guessing new really old stock? Or flipping from a Estate Sale?

Is the vendor a regular seller or just a hobbyist?

Let us know if everything goes bang.

One website I use has a Classified Section where you can buy components.

Sometimes it’s just someone who gave up on the reloading hobby. Other times it is inherited and it could be 40 or 50 years old.

“Life is like a box of reloading components, you never know what you're gonna get”
