Accidentally found a semi interesting feature while moving the cursor about while reading posts. Under the members name who posted is their location which highlights and when clicked opens a google map of of their area. Hamilton, OH took me right there, Hill Country of Texas showed me south central TX and now I know where Stick Marsh is at. No location info, no go.

The really fun part is when the member lists something other than a locale google defaults to my area with various results. "between a rock and a hard place" zoomed to the Hard Rock Hotel which isn't too far away and "Between beers" listed some beer stores in town.

Just what I needed, another Forum rabbit hole to follow with evening baseball or hockey playing in the background.

I think the way it works is that one can see one's own location precisely, but only a general location for other members who post their locations.IMG_5099.png
