I need to free up some space in my safe and therefore I have decided to sell some of my accumulation. Up for sale is a Colt Mustang Plus II, Series 80, .380. This gun is similar in form and function to the Colt 1911 but far smaller. The finish is Colt Bright Blue with a 2.75 inch barrel, a seven round magazine and original Colt grips. The finish is perfect with no scratches or blemishes. The gun comes with its original box, manual (record page filled out), warranty card (partially filled out but not sent in) original plastic bags and miscellaneous other documents. All of these items are in like new condition with only the box showing some slight shelf wear.
I can’t tell you for sure that the gun has never been fired since leaving the factory, but it is my strong belief that it has not. I bought it from my LGS in 1997. The store owner bought it from a man who had originally purchased the gun in 1987 for his elderly father. The father either passed away or did not want the gun any longer. It went into my safe and has only emerged every year or so for a wipe down with a soft cloth.
This is a rather difficult gun to find, especially in this condition. I think the photos will be able to answer most of your questions but please ask any that you may have. Please note that the little white specks in the photos are dust. More photos are available and I will also be happy to photograph whatever you don’t see. $875.00 (USPS MO) plus $45 for FFL transfer fee, shipping and insurance in CONUS. This gun will ship from my New Mexico FFL to your FFL. All state and local laws will be strictly followed.
