My wife was in a head on accident at slow speed the air bag didn't even go off. The car however was disabled, the other driver had driven a ways before stopping and my wife thought she left. My wife got out of her car to talk to a witness and when she got back into her car with out locking her door. she had 911 on the phone when her door was ripped open and the other drive started to threaten she was going to rip her out of the car and beat the sht out of her. She was demanding money and very aggressive lucky a passerby got her attention so my wife could get her door shut and locked. The accident was caught on video and of course the 911 call is taped. the 911 operator hearing everything knew this was a situation that could get very ugly fast and sent many LEOS and they came in fast.
My wife handled the situation with no eye contact, did not respond in any way she just stay focused on the dispatcher and his questions.
it makes me wonder if I had been along and not being there but only from what I have been told I am thinking I would have drawn on her, and if I had would things have really turned ugly. As it was things turned out O.K. a disabled car, a shaken up wife all things that can be taken care of. But what if a gun got involved?
If your wondering the other driver was ticketed for driving in the wrong lane, driving after rev, and of course no insurance.
