I planned ahead for that one. I have an inside release.

I'm not happy with what I've got to do to lock myself in even if I want to.
I've got to spin the crank to move the bolts to locked, then spin the dial, then go inside and pull the safety release while shutting the door. But once inside I'm locked in.
Just me, some ratty old guns, a years supply of wine and booze, and enough ammo to blow me to hell and back. That reminds me, I'm moving a cot and some food inside this afternoon! I don't care if a tornado does come along.
About 25 years ago at a jeep race a friend went into a port-o-let to relieve himself. Another friend saw him and hid. Then the instant the door closed he drove over and parked his jeep up against the door. Then he got out and walked away. All kinds of thrashing and squalling from inside when he realized he was trapped (just like inside a gun safe!)

But enough room to stand or sit......

They're still friends. He got out by having some of us move the port-o-let back 3' or so.
Yes, he went looking for the guy who "done" it. Couldn't find him, he drove out in his other car and went home for the night!

There was payback, a few years later.
