Heck yes, glad to see they are starting to come back here and there. It's a matter of time before it's all back to normal. The only thing around here thats still being hit on is the .22LR. But it can still be found if u look around hard enough. The most expensive I have seen a brick of .22LR in a store was $23. Thats still not a terrible price, but it's not exactly cheap either.

Everything is slowly trickling it's way back to the stores around here, finally.

I went to Gander Mountain in Madison, WI today.

Not a single AR-15 in stock. But they did have about 10 AR-22's, one was S&W, a couple of Walthers, some unknowns.

Three boxes of .223 ammo at $37 / 20 rounds.

The only 9mm they had was Gold Dot and similar, about 6 boxes of a couple brands, $34 and up per 20.

Had 2 boxes of .22 short and some .22 shot.

No reloading dies, 1 can of powder, no bullets, no brass except for 30/30, and only 1 bag of steel shot for shotgun shells.

The clerk said they are filling the shelves with empty ammo cans and shotshell wads to make the shelves look full.

I asked when they get ammo delivery and he said it varies, but they have cars driving through every night looking for the semi that brings ammo. Once it is spotted, the word goes out and by morning there are more than a dozen cars in the lot when they open. By the time the ammo is counted and brought out there is a long line standing by the shelf. Even though there is a limit, guys will pile ammo in their cart then walk around the store calling people on their cell phones to come pick it up. The clerk has had to forcibly take ammo from customers and put it back on shelves. Then customers will take the ammo and hide it in clothes, behind other boxes, and in other departments so they can come get more later.

No, it's not getting better in Wisconsin yet..... :(
