Looking at a 627 Pro and wanting a reality check ("price check")

James, I just used wet/dry sandpaper 600,1000,1500 grit. Used a sanding block on the barrel and just gave the cylinder the old "Shoeshine Buff". I don't use polish, just a lead wipe for the front of the cylinder and any dark spots, wipe clean with a oily rag.
 
627 pro

i've owned one for 1 and a half years and its my fav revolver by far. and i own several smiths and the price is great snatch it up
 
I have both the 686 and the 627 Pro. Buy the 627 Pro. Nothing wrong with the 686, just so much right with the 627.
