I’m looking at a 29-2 6.5 inch Nickel with a serial number beginning with N. Target stocks on it. My cost would be $1150. Is this an ok deal? No pictures yet. I looked at it for $1250 and said I wasn’t sure and then they called me offering $1150 but it is real clean in a presentation box.

I’m not a fan of nickel guns but I’d buy it at that price.

I'd jump on that with both feet. 6-1/2" barrel is more desirable than a 6", nickel brings a premium over blued, and you got a presentation case. N prefix came from 1968 to 1982; if you don't mind posting the first three digits after the N we can narrow that down some. Let's see some pictures WHEN (not if) you get it.

It was N3 something around 380000. Unless I’m confusing it with the 27-2 6” in Nickel they had bought from the same guy. I’m now Medicare age so I can use that excuse.

A factory nickel finished 29-2 with the 6 1/2 inch barrel, correct stocks, used very little, with presentation case for $1150? That would be a great purchase. Actually, it might be more of an investment.

Doing the paperwork now.

Yeah, I would have jumped on that one too! You can also buy new inserts for the presentation box for $125.00 on eBay. I think the person who sells them on eBay may also be a member of this forum. GREAT SCORE!

I have a 29-2 nickel with presentation case and tools. I certainly would not sell it for $1150. You made a great deal in my opinion
