Looking for a range bag for my 586

I've been doing this for a while, and the Midway competition bag is really an awesome bag. Good quality, good price, well laid out, good zippers, and it has held up very well over the 8+ years that I've owned it. I've got the large one, and it holds about all that I can carry...

I too, have a BAGMASTER. I bought-it for the princely sum of $25.00 dollars at a gun show. Inexpensive, tough, and innocuous. Plenty of storage for pistols, and ammo.

I had a Midway range bag. While it's a great value for general range use, it did not stand up to heavy use (at least for me). And if it ever gets wet, it takes days to dry out.

BTW I think Bagmaster may be out of business. Their web site has been inactive for a couple of year.

Some heavier duty alternatives I like:
- GPS medium range bag
- Lynx Defense range bag
- Maxpedition range bags

I tell the NRA to keep their free gifts...

...but I'm happy with the range bags they sent me. The first one I got was pretty good sized and handy, the second one was a little chinchier.
