Something durable that properly fits the performance center model that won't break the bank and still be dead nuts at 100 yds. Sure would appreciate the advice.

I just put on a leapers 3-12x44 compact. Great scope for $100, a tad heavy, but actually gives the rifle a better feel. Too many features on it to list.

Thanks for the suggestion. Only draw back I can see is that it's made in China. Fit and finish seems really good at this price point. I might give this one a try.

What height rings do you guys recomend for this scope.Do you think the high ones are best?

a Pentax game seeker for @95 bucks so i says to self--try it!
as weve had very good luck with

Generally, lower rings are better to some extent. I have had this one mounted on my carry handle, and I loved it:

Comes with QD rings to take it off easily and give the 15/22 the scary AR look with the carry handle.
Look at the Mueller APV and tactical scopes. While I prefer the Nikons, a friend just put one on his 25 06 and I found it had very good light, clear picture at 100 yards, and felt substantial.
Total price for scope and rings is about 150-170.
He's only fired about 100 rounds so far but no issues, and that 25 06 rifle is a lot stouter than the 15-22.
Lots of .22LR target shooters swear by the Mueller scopes.
