Looking for a Slide release assembly for my M&P 9mm

During last Sunday's match, I went dry, dropped the empty mag and inserted a fresh one. I went to hit the slide release, and the dog-gone thing had sheared off. I was able to continue the match by racking the slide, but I sure would like to replace the broken part.

MidwayUSA and Brownell's are out of stock. I've sent an e-mail to S&W, but no response as of yet. If anyone knows where I could get a replacement, please let me know.

Try calling S&W, you have to sit on hold for a while, but you can get an answer quicker than an email (in my experience).

I need one too!
It looks like these break frequently as I had to replace the one in my M&P 9L shortly after I got it a couple of years ago and at that time I had to wait about 3 weeks before I could get one from Midway. Yesterday I noticed the tab on the right side of my M&P 40 which I have had for about 5 years was gone and again they are out of stock at Brownells and Midway. Anyone know who has them??

The Speed Shooter Specialties component is the old style. That should work fine if you're replacing an old style component, but if your broken part is the new configuration you might notice a difference in trigger feel.
