i am looking for a good trigger in a two stage... but i want it in a heavier second stage so you come up against it before the break...

the geissele SD-E gets different ratings on different sites...

you guys know any that are for sure? also dont need it super light, like 2-3 first, 3.5-4.5 second (noticeable second stage)

For a really nice Two stage that won't break the bank, go with a **** **** Rock River.
A 3.5-4 lb goes for about $130 or so.
No idea why I posted Stag Arms when I meant Rock River.

I'm all in for the McCormick one piece drop in. Spendy but EVERY penny worth it. It resides in my Bushmaster M4 Mini-Y comp and the only thing wrong with it is I wish I bought it a long time ago!!!

For what you are wanting, the Geissele SD-C may be a better choice than the SD-E.

Sir, the factory Rock River two-stage trigger isn't all bad. I ran one in NRA high power for a few years. I also used a Rock River trigger tuned by John Holliger (White Oak Precision) that was very nice. If you have specific desires about the balancing of the stages, Holliger is the guy to get with.

The Jewel two-stage used to be popular among high power guys, but seems to have fallen from favor. I don't know if it's still available. The Giselles were just coming on the scene when I was getting out of high power, and I have no experience with them.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

Ron H.
