I am looking for DOB and approximate value of a 32 cal small frame revolver, S/N 411xxxx. Blueing on barrel only, a few rust spots on the cylinder and barrel is clean. Barrel appears to be about 3". Other than finish, it is in excellent shape.

Thanks
Lago

Serial numbers in the 400000 range for these small frame revolvers began coming off the assembly floor in 1924. Because the company did not ship in strict serial number order, that gun may date to 1925.

That's a 3.25 inch barrel, one of the standard lengths for this model. Other barrels were 4.25 and 6 inches.

You can deal with the surface rust with some fine bronze wool and oil. (Superfine steel wool will do in a pinch, but don't really grind away at the rust; light pressure and repeated strokes are best.)

Gun prices vary around the country on a regional basis. Depending on where you live, that could be a $200 to $300 gun.
