shorts of any brand won't feed at all from the magazine. and they don't produce enough pressure to function the action. That's why it says "LR" on the magazine and the receiver.

This is what I though but was told other wise. Just wanted to confirm.

I've used 'em in a Ruger 10/22 and a Ruger Mark II, they feed from those but will not cycle the action, turning them into "straight pull bolt actions."

If you already have some there is no danger in trying them.

Just be aware that you MUST scrub the chamber thoroughly after shooting them and BEFORE shooting LRs again. Failure to do so will almost certainly cause both chambering and extraction problems.

I don't have any unfortunally. I was inquiring bout them before I bough something that couldn't work or would damage my rifle.

I've used them in both the above, especially the MKIII for pigeons on my back patio columns that love to nest there. pretty quiet, using a can makes them more so. little bit more than a BB gun. takes them out pretty well. IDK as i have never used them in the 15-2's.
