Probably a .38 Double Action, 4th Model. I'm lousy on values so I won't guess. It looks to be a 5" barrel.
Welcome! Agree with the ID. CTG is short for "cartridge", it probably reads .38 S & W in front of that on the left barrel.
There were over 500000 of these made so value of a worn but mechanically sound example is low, perhaps $200-250.

Welcome to the Forum. The serial number falls into the 4th Model range and it likely would have shipped from 1900 to 1905 so it is a modern firearm according to the BATF.
Value of these guns is very low since over a half-million were made and worn nickel guns are at the bottom of the value pile. For aesthetic reasons, a worn nickel gun is quite unattractive to the eye, while worn blued guns still bring higher prices. Also, the mother-of-pearl stocks are not factory original. Distributors often changed the stocks from original black hard rubber to their own MOPs before selling them. My opinion is that the stocks are worth $50 and the gun is worth under $200 with or without them.
What we do not know is how it functions, if it holds cock, if the action is loose, if it has any rifling, and are necessary to know if an accurate valuation is wanted.
