Im looking to buy a S&W M&P 15-22 within the next few months.... its looking impossible at the moment because everyone is out of stock. How can i get a New one and where? I want the 811034.. i think with the threaded barrel.

The truth is right now if you find what your looking for buy it. Other wise you just gotta wait and hope you luck out. The AR platform is extremely popular right now. There really is not good place to look until you have money in hand.

Call or go to your local gun shops. If they have the one you want, buy it now. You might be lucky if it's there tomorrow. That's how I found mine.

I got one from Grabagun.com this month $429 for the 811033 threaded, but they run out of stock very quickly when they get them in. You have to keep checking and get on their notification email.

I looked up the numbers of all the Academy's within a 50Mi range from me, and proceeded to call every single one and asked if they had them in stock. Luckily for me, my first call was all it took, but I continued to call to see if the had any ARs and out of the 20-30 Academy's I called, none carried it. What you can also do is ask for their shipment times,and just call on those days when they get them in stock. I spoke to the gentleman that sold me the 15-22 and he said ever since the scare started, there's been a group of about 10 guys that wait in front of the store when they get their shipments on Mon, Wed, Fri, to see if they have what they want within that shipment. Sams shooters emporium in Lake Havasu AZ had about 6 on the shelf. Pricey at $660. They had one MOE FDE but I didnt check the price.

Find out what day the delivery truck comes to each of your local stores and call that evening to see if they got any in. That's how I got mine finally.

I ordered a camo one (811046) on Dec. 20 (got as x-mas gift from dear old dad) just picked it up today at LGS!!! LGS is part of NGDN, so they are getting them eventually, order the one you want now and have patience, grasshopper, you will be rewarded, and not jacked on price if your LGS is any good... LGS let me buy as much ammo as I wanted too cause I picked up the gun there, they are rationing people who haven't just bought a gun to 200 rounds, got 1000 mini-mags and 3 Federal 525 packs, should be set for the weekend!!!

Cabela's have the 811033 for $450. I haven't ever seen the 811034 new. But I have seen several on Armslist that come with many goodies.

Thanks guys for all the info. I was able to find one at Discount Guns for Sale - Buds Gun Shop . Its in KY but they have them. Think it was $615. Just cant wait to pop off that first round in it.
