Thanks Howard, I just looked at 44 Mag and $50.00 is too steep for a 10 round mag.I am more interested in the 17 unless I can find a 10 for the right price.

They are just taking advantage of the situation. If you wanna get real sick look at some of the eBay auctions for magazines. :(

They are hard to find. Keep checking Midway. Midway has the most reasonable prices. Yesterday I did purchase some Shield 9 magazines from Midway for $31 a piece (limit of 2).

Last week, I finally broke down, bit the bullet (no pun intended) and purchased 2 M&P 9c mags from Gander Mountain for $50 a piece. That is high but I got tired of searching for them.

Does anybody know where I can get my hands on and M&P 9 magazine?

I have enough 17 round mags that I'm thinking of selling them for $50 a pop since some people are willing to pay that much....

.. well I actually wouldn't sell them (for that cheap);)

This may sound like a dumb question, but I'm new to all this so here goes...But since people are having success converting their 40s to 9s and using their 40 mags to load 9 ammo, is it possible to use a 40 mag in a 9mm M&P?? I dont know how the supply is for 40mags where you live, but I see them more than 9mags. Just thought if it's possible then that might help you out until 9mags become more available.

I think you got a little confused, when people convert their 40s to 9s they have to buy 9 mags too. The only other round that you can put in a 40 mag is 357sig.

Some 40 mags will allow the use of 9mm ammo, but it's a hit and miss thing, and I wouldn't use them for self defense.

Just checked, and my Glock mags will work after a fashion, but my M&P and Browning mags won't hold the rounds in position.

Bottom line, use the proper mags. You'll find some eventually.

Well if you do decide to sell them for that please let me know. I'm in dire need for a couple more and am willing to pay 50 a piece.

I looked at ebay and most of them people are willing to pay the price. Some of them have put them up starting at 99 cents and they sold for over $70. I even saw one that was a pair of 17's that went for $175. Its just nuts!!

Right now in ebay there is one 10 rounds M&P 9mm Compact magazine at $107 with 6 bids. There are too many stupids outside dude.

Maddmax Ebay is selling 10 rounds max capacity mags and other related gun items like barrels, internals, grips and even conversion kits, but no ammo, no firearms.
