I remember 1994, pre/post, and all the BS that was involved. I also remember 2004 and started buying what I need or might need ever!! So the morale to the story is that I have what I need for myself, my family, nephews, for the next 40 yrs at least. When this current debacle ends I will continue to plan ahead. Just like all natural disasters tornado, flood, etc when you wait for the inevitable to happen, you can get caught in a bad situation without what you need. So look for what you may need( Sigma 40F-> need 12 magazines per gun,( I rotate 6 every 6 mo) clean, lube ,store.) Repeat as needed. 2009 I had 2 magazines fail for my rifle while on a hunting trip, mags were tested before the hunt. Did I whine, cry, blame someone else? No I marked them and picked 2 other mags out of the gun case, which also had a second rifle and 2 more mags. Cost--- I did not buy all of it one day or one year for that matter, I just maintained a list of what I had and what I may need. So when I saw a mag, ammo, loader,carrier, tac-lights, I bought it at a good price and stored it safely. I truly hope that NO BAN on any item is enacted since it would only serve to have things available to those that could afford them, or the people that would steal them, thus leaving the majority of all on the forum without.
