Ordered two from Botach and received a tracking number. Order status says shipped however I received an email stating they were back ordered with no eta. I am hoping they were shipped!

I ordered 4 mags on the 8th, and got a tracking number same day however it says Fedex just now picked them up today. What the hell?

SoTX, I called S&W and was told they were not producing the 25 rd. magazines, until they know what is going to happen, although I think they should be pumping them out as hard as they can. You might have to cherish the one you have, until the dust settles, or pay $50 + on gunbroker or Ebay.

ebay sold 12 yesterday and gunbroker has many listings right now

Easier to start a thread here asking others to do the footwork we've already done on our own...sheesh hehehe.
Good luck finding a 25 round mag anywhere at the moment.
In a few days those of us in NY will have ours for sale in varied sites due to the new laws pending.
Be patient and you'll be able to buy some for around $50 each if you are lucky.

Did you consider that yours isn't the only order they have to deal with?
Such delays are not at all uncommon. BTW, the shipper, not the carrier, issues the tracking number.

If you live in NY and pinning is not an option, just take them apart and keep them as "kits". Then, if the laws changes you have them back, or you can shoot them in a free state, or sell at a later date. I wouldn't sell them just yet..

Just received an email from Botach saying there is an 8 week backorder on the 50 round drum. Oh well happy have a total of 6 25 rounders in my possession. If, in fact I do ever get the 50 I will consider myself very lucky.

You must have never shipped something before via a shipping website?
The way it works is you make the shipping label on the web, that activates the order and tracking number BUT that does not mean it has been shipped yet as it is not actually in the hands of the shipping company. So, I could buy the label today from USPS for example, it emails you the package has been given a tracking number and you get excited and think it is on its way, yet I don't actually give it to USPS for 3 days. So, it is not really shipped, just the label has been bought and tracking # assigned.
Just be damn glad FedEx picked it up as that means it DID leave the factory and IS on the way.... that is what matters these days for mags.

Thanks. I have been on the google machine for last couple days could not find squat. Come here get for a couple hours chastised, then someone coughs it up. Gunbroker. Thanks bought 2 it was worth the ridicule
im sure those ones cost ya a pretty penny.

Ordered from Botach and they said they were shipped, 6 days ago, and gave me reward points that they dont give out until its shipped. No tracking number. Now I see my C card was not charged and it was shown pending before. *** is up? I canceled two I was going to get from S&W and were in stock and now they are out. Getting real pissed!
