The sc is an older model you can pick up on GB for around 500.
I like having a hammer for SA.
Leo Combat – Pack Smarter! makes a little plastic shroud for it. Or if you want, have your smith bob the hammer.
I pocket carry in a sticky holster or a kydex- lighter means my pants don't sag/sway & I always carry.
I have no problem shooting 38 all day with these guns in SA.
If I want 7 rounds instead of 5 I have the 386pd L frame at 17oz which is also my IDPA gun (just started).
