As much as I am not thrilled with buying parts on ebay, I have stated here more than a few times it seems to be the best outlet for parts. Once in a while ya get scammed, but at least eBay backs you up if the seller won't cooperate. The BEST advise I can give regarding eBay purchases is to be very familiar and knowledgable about what you are purchasing. Sometimes eBay sellers aren't trying to scam you - they don't know much about what they are selling themselves!

I agree Ebay over the years had been the best place to buy these if you know what to look for as sometimes the seller doesn't know exactly what they have, the ones that do know will be higher in price, knowledge is the key.
You say N frame but stainless or blue, older gun or newer style there are a few key things to know when looking.
Triggers, you want/need a smooth face trigger or serrated and silver finish or case colored?
Is it an older 5 screw style or later 3 screw.
Also on a trigger look for a loaded one with the sear if it's stripped you'll need to swap your sear and possibly do some fitting to make everything work.
Same with Hammer on the finishes
Stocks are a little easier but you'll need round butt or square butt.
Also we have a WTB want to buy section in the classifieds that many knowledge folks on here may be able to help you locate or may have what you're needing.

The key to Ebay is look for the seller's number of transactions and their score. The reputable ones have up to thousands of transactions and scores above 97%. I don't buy from anyone under a couple hundred and as a result, I haven't ever had an issue. I use the same general method on GunBroker - lots of sales, but I add that a brick and mortar store selling on GB is the most trustworthy of any.
That said, let me add a non-GB or Ebay seller, USA Guns and Gear. I've had good success getting small parts from them.
