Don't worry about it. I had ordered a Dtx- no blue springs- and for my 10 day wait here in Cali, I was reading this forum. I started to freek out thinking, I would wait 2 weeks, get my gun, and then would have to call S&W right away to have it sent back to them. I even went as far as to contact the dealer where I purchased it, to have them maybe check the other M&P 15-22's to see if maybe I could trade mine over for a different one with blue springs. The guy at the dealer told me, don't worry it will be fine. That still didn't put my mined at ease... Well, I received mine and it works flawless. Could not be happier!! Worst case, you may purchase one that doesn't work well and S&W will take care of it. Best case, you get one and have no issues like a lot of folks. Just buy and enjoy, WE DID and could not be happier!!!

Is there a certain S/N production that has issues?
Mine starts with DTX.
Here is mine, you have to buy one, isn't she just beautiful?

No front yard at your house?

Haha...funny guy! Living in So. Cal...I have no yard, I live in an Apartment. I cannot afford a house here, as making $70 grand a year is not enough to buy a house here.
There is grass out front in the common area of our complex, but I don't think the neighbors will take kindly to me shooting while thier kids ride their bikes, lol...I like my freedom to much. I will just have to wait to get to the range.

DTX (Xray) is the highest -- and, by implication, latest -- serial series reported here to date.

Mine is a DTZ1XXX.

No problems yet, other than ammo related... about 1000 rounds through it...

Yes...I did see that, nice cars nice yard! I would love that! I grew up in rural PA, and I miss that, being able to have access to open land. I lived in a small town, but a 5 minute drive, and you were out in cow country. A few of my friends in HS lived on farms, and we would go out on their property and shoot .22's and shot guns all day! Ahh...the good old days!
