Louisiana POST school qualification

Today my son shot the Louisiana POST (police officer standard training) instructor qualification course. I can proudly say he qualified with a pretty good score. What makes me real proud is that he did it not with a new plastic wonder pistol but did it with my venerable old model 66-2. I thought it was kinda neat that in the plastic era, a wheelgun made the grade with a darn good score. I keep trying to convince him that a 66 or a 19 would make a darn good duty weapon.

Yes they would. I am thinking of switching over to my 681 or 686 when annual qualification comes this summer.

outstanding.....and FWIW, I intend to qualify with my 64 and the 2 inch M10 my dad carried as a FBI agent for 20 years this year, along with the usual assortment of Glocks I carry....I am looking forward to it....
not to hijack, but I never feel undergunned with a revolver....
